Annual Retainer Relationships

Ann works with law firms mainly through annual retainer relationships.  Firms may choose from among three levels of relationships:  primary, intermediate, and premium.  Retainer clients tailor their services by choosing from among the following: 

1.   Development of competitive intelligence to uncover new opportunities for client development

2.   Support for RFP competitions, informal competitions, and preemptive new-business pitches

3.   Development of generic proposal and presentation materials that can be tailored for specific marketing opportunities

4.   Proposal and presentation design, writing, and editing

5.   Coaching of attorney teams to ready them for new-business pitches and interviews

6.   Business development training for legal marketing staff

7.   Consultation on business development tactics and plans that align the firm’s business development initiatives with firm, practice group, and client team strategic goals

8.   Post-competition debriefing of firm clients and prospective clients to improve future business development performances

9.   Design and implementation of competitive intelligence and relationship management technology systems and infrastructure 

10. Design and development of proposal / presentation centers

Value-added Services for Retainer Clients

Retainer clients also receive value-added services, including:

1.   Veto authority for "premium retainer" clients over any other ALGC representations

2.   Exclusive representation on new business competitions

3.   Digital versions of all ALGC presentations and publications

4.   Access to ALGC competitive intelligence databases
